Job Title: Warehouse Operatives (AM/PM shift)

Location: Snetterton, Norfolk

Enviroment - Chilled
Days of work - Sunday to Thursday 06:00-16:00 or 14:00-00:00
Rate of pay - £12.79ph or £13.68ph

Major Recruitment are pleased to be working with a rapidly growing pet foods' industry. The company is the UKs No1 Raw Pet Food and Europe’s leading expert on raw and natural dog and cat foods.

We are currently recruiting for a number of roles within the warehouse. This role is full-time and will be on a temp to perm basis giving you a permanent contract ( this is a chilled coldstore )

• Sunday to Thursday 06:00-16:00 or 14:00-00:00

Main duties:

• Pick products for customer orders
• Manually pack products into boxes on trolleys ensuring the products are fit for purpose
• Report any defects, accidents or violations
• Make sure there is good manufacturing, housekeeping, hygiene and health and safety standards throughout the shift
• Keeping the warehouse and surrounding areas clean
• Also doing general warehouse duties such as box making, pallet wrapping etc.
• Flexible to work in all departments throughout the warehouse
• Loading the vehicles in an accurate way

Skills and Experience

• Basic Health and Safety and hygiene
• Basic IT skills and bespoke systems in-house
• Problem solving skills
• A good level of numeracy and literacy skills
• Previous experience with food products and materials

This job is demanding and requires a fast pace in a -17 degrees warehouse, with the ability to self-motivate. This role does require you to have a full UK driver's licence.
